Syncrolift Shiplift Maintenance Training

The Syncrolift Academy provides OEM maintenance training for Syncrolift systems. We train shipyard crew on maintaining both the old articulated platform shiplifts and the modern rigid platform shiplifts.

Objective:

Upon completion the trainees will have the knowledge and skills to effectively execute maintenanceaccording to OEM procedures for the Syncrolift® shiplift.

Suitable for:

Novice and experienced Syncrolift® shiplift maintenance personell.

Modules:

Module 1 – Introduction and Syncrolift activities
Module 2 – Shiplift component description and basic explanations
Module 3 – Platform function, inspection & maintenance
Module 4 – Hoist function
Module 5 – Upper Sheaves Maintenance
Module 6 – Lower Sheaves Maintenance
Module 7 – Winch Maintenance
Module 8 – Wire Rope Maintenance
Module 9 – Practical training sessions – maintenance of main components

Most training courses offered can be tailored to your specific needs. We want this to be of maximum benefit for your shipyard operations, so please inform us about what you think you and your crew needs most training on.

Number of trainees

Syncrolift recommend maximum 8-10 trainees per course. If a significantly higher number of trainees are needed, Syncrolift recommend dividing the course into two or more consecutive sessions.

Number of trainees for remote or online training can be agreed upon before course start.

Durations

All course durations are based on 7 hours days, with 1 hour lunch per day, and working week Monday-Friday.

Resources

Necessary training material for the specific training courses will be provided upon course start.

For courses delivered at Customer premises, the Customer shall provide the proper facilities for the course execution. This includes proper airconditioned classroom, seating, overhead and projector.
