Astican (Astilleros Canarios) is a premier shipyard located in the Canary Islands of Spain, specifically in the port of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Established in 1973, Astican has grown into a leading ship repair and maintenance facility, serving a diverse range of vessels from around the world. Astican's facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure, including a large floating dock capable of handling vessels up to 36,000 DWT, extensive repair quays, and fully-equipped workshops. And of course an awesome syncrolift: 175 mts long, the dry-docking system is a versatile Syncrolift platform with a lifting capacity of 10.000 MT in dry-docking condition for vessels up to 36.000 DWT and a beam limitation of 30 m. Vessels can be dry-docked at very short notice.
